SouthCon was honored by the Associated Builders and Contractors with two “Excellence in Construction” EAGLE Awards for this project. SouthCon earned the ABC Carolinas award and then went on to take top honors at the national level in 2018. ABC’s Excellence in Construction Program has become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the nation.
This project consists of new construction of a 17,000 Sq. Ft. three-story Class A office building with covered parking. The bank lobby occupies the ground floor with offices on floors 2 and 3. The project includes a flood-proof first level, deep foundations, a state-of-the-art security system, and high-end exterior finishes. The project also requires coordination with SCDOT and the Charleston City Engineering Office for traffic signalization shutdowns, installation and switchover, as well as temporary traffic control measures during times of signal outage.
