This project involved the new construction of an 11,295 SqFt Animal Center. Finishes included cast-in-place concrete (footings slab-on-grade), CMU/ brick veneer masonry, a pre-engineered metal building system, metal decking, and modified bitumen roofing. Additional exterior elements included chain link fencing and gates for dog kennels and runs, as well as site work, landscaping, and termite protection.
The scope also included plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm systems, rough carpentry, cabinetry and countertops, joint sealants, sheet metal flashing and trim, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, finish hardware, aluminum entrances and storefront systems, glazing, and fixed aluminum louvers.
Interior finishes consisted of metal stud framing, gypsum wallboard, acoustical ceilings, batt insulation, stained concrete flooring, interior and exterior painting, fire extinguishers and cabinets, interior signage, toilet and bath accessories, hand dryers, and metal lockers.
