Located at 80 Calhoun Street in Charleston’s historic district, the Southern First Bank Regional Headquarters is a three-story, 17,000-square-foot Class A office building. The project faced several challenges, including a tight urban site surrounded by narrow streets and nearby residences, poor soil conditions, unforeseen utility issues, and frequent site flooding due to high tides and rainfall. Despite these obstacles, SouthCon successfully delivered a facility that meets stringent architectural standards and serves as a modern, secure headquarters for Southern First Bank.
