SouthCon Building Group Receives 2026 Top Project Award for South Atlantic Bank at Carnes Crossroads
The SCBIZ Top Projects awards program, honors the most notable construction projects across South Carolina over the past year.
The program recognizes innovative projects that both honor the past and shape the future.
Projects were judged on degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, collaboration among project teams, adaptive reuse and sustainability efforts.

Their innovative projects feature quality design and construction in addition to creating jobs, building healthy spaces and helping businesses achieve their goals,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/SCBIZ. “SCBIZ is pleased to shine a spotlight on these individuals and organizations in the real estate community for their outstanding achievements.”
The South Atlantic Bank at Carnes Crossroads marks the third branch SouthCon has completed for the growing financial institution demonstrating the trust and confidence earned through consistent quality, collaboration, and project execution.
SouthCon worked closely with the owner and an experienced project team to successfully deliver the project, including architect Oakline Studio; project engineers ADC Engineering, Britt Peters & Associates, and Schultz Engineering Group; and interior designer Satterfield Interiors.
