Chris founded SouthCon Building Group, LLC in 2008 and continues to lead the company as President and Chief Executive Officer. With over 33 years of experience in commercial general contracting, Chris began his career working hands-on in the field across a variety of roles, gaining practical insight into all aspects of construction.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University in 1991 and holds unlimited general contracting licenses in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. A licensed contractor since 1992, Chris also became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2005, reflecting his commitment to sustainable building practices.
Chris serves on the Department of Construction Management Advisory Board at East Carolina University. Under his leadership, SouthCon has grown into a financially strong firm with a skilled and dedicated team of construction professionals, known for delivering high-quality projects with integrity and precision.
