Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a data-driven process that supports the planning, design, construction, and operation of a facility through a digital 3D model. By using Navisworks, SouthCon’s Project Management Team enhances coordination and communication with the design team, allowing for early detection of conflicts and more efficient project execution.

SouthCon partners with respected design professionals at the local, regional, and national level. Our collaborative approach ensures seamless integration of design intent and construction execution, engaging all stakeholders with a shared commitment to project success.

SouthCon’s scheduling process is led by the project team—most often the Project Manager and Superintendent—ensuring practical timelines based on real-world experience. For more complex projects, we bring in a dedicated Scheduling Consultant to enhance planning. This team-based approach results in realistic schedules that keep projects moving efficiently and on time.

SouthCon uses advanced construction management software to track every phase of a project—from budgeting and job costing to subcontractor coordination and full financial oversite. We also use a web base platform to distribute drawings and specifications, streamlining the bid process with quick access and improved response from subcontractors and vendors
